Flow of Fluids Premium is the software program which is based upon the well know Crane Technical Paper TP-410
(See: Books).
It calculates the losses and heads and simulates and analyses the operation of pump and other piping systems for the handling of fluids or industrial gasses under variable operating conditions. Flow of Fluids Premium calculates the results for any system, not only single string, but also branched, with multiple pumps, multiple suction and multiple discharge reservoirs, as long as the total amount of connecting pipes is not higher than 25. Simply enter a schematic drawing of your system, calculate the pipe sizes and Flow of Fluids Premium will show you how your system will perform.
Flow of Fluids Premium is suitable for liquids and as long as the calculated pressure drop is less than 40% of the inlet pressure it is also suitable for gasses and other compressible fluids. You can enter the performance curve of the pump of your choice, but the program gives you also the possibility to select a suitable pump from the electronic catalogs of more than 75 pump manufacturers After the simulation of the system with the pump’s performance curve you are sure that you selected the optimal pump. The software simulates the operation of the integral system and you can analyse the interaction of all the components, not only the pump(s), but also the control valves, heat exchangers, strainers etc. Using Flow of Fluids Premium gives you the following features:
